Walking along this white sand beach
focusing across the sea
still as stone, cool as a breeze
the vast blue water calling to me

Sun is hot on my skin
the sand is sharp under my feet
a gale is blowing all around
rocks and glass cutting deep

By myself with not a care
my face is washed by beauty's shore
dreaming, searching, all the days
this beach is mine once more
