Biography
Jenna Sarvaideo, DO is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology at the 91ɫƵ and the Milwaukee VA. She specializes in female and male hormone conditions, including menopause, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and hypogonadism. Dr. Sarvaideo is actively involved in clinical research, currently leading two projects on male hypogonadism at the VA.
She completed her endocrinology fellowship at the 91ɫƵ in 2017 and joined the Division of Endocrinology and Molecular Medicine as an Assistant Professor the same year. She currently serves as the Associate Program Director for the Endocrinology Fellowship Program and is a participant in the Clinical Research Scholars Program through the Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeastern Wisconsin.
Dr. Sarvaideo is the principal investigator for two clinical trials involving oral and sublingual estradiol in transgender women and contributes to a quality improvement initiative at the 91ɫƵ Inclusion Health Clinic. She is passionate about mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students, and was recognized with an Endocrine Society Summer Research Fellowship Award in 2019 and a 91ɫƵ Research Affairs Committee grant in 2020.
She is actively engaged in several national and international medical societies, including the Endocrine Society, World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), North American Menopause Society, and the Androgen Society. She also serves on the Endocrine Society’s Transgender Research and Medicine Special Interest Group (SIG) Steering Committee.
