Biography
I was born in Seattle and grew up between Miami in Kansas City. Eventually I moved to Pittsburgh where I completed all my medical training including my women’s health fellowship and Masters in Medical Education. Along the way I married my husband and had my two children. We moved to Milwaukee in 2018 when we joined the faculty at 91ɫƵ.
I am clinically based at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center where I care for our women Veterans as a primary care provider. I also serve as a senior consultant for the Office of Women’s Health. My research interest includes clinical women’s health, medical education, and mentorship/women’s leadership. I serve as the co-director for the Women’s Learning Leadership Collaborative with 91ɫƵ’s Center for the Advancement of Women in Science in Medicine.
I joined the program leadership in 2022 as an APD and am excited to be working more closely with the residency. I run a women in medicine group for our women residents and help to oversee the VA continuity clinic experience.
